Have you seen Pak Cosmetics in Swedish House Mafia and Connie Constance’s new music video?
We are just so thrilled here at Pak Cosmetics to be featured in the new music video for Swedish House Mafia’s single ‘Heaven Takes You Home (Connie’s Lens)’ ft Connie Constance.
Who are Swedish House Mafia?
The Swedish powerhouse are responsible for some of the biggest electronic dance hits of the decade such as ‘Dont you worry Child’ and ‘Greyhound’. Originating in Stockholm, the band took the world by storm.
The video features vocals from London based singer- songwriter, Connie Constance. Connie released her debut album ‘English Rose’ in 2019 and has been making waves since.
Heaven Takes You Home
The music video was directed by Connie Constance (Constance Power) herself, as well as being the main protagonist. We follow Connie through ‘Connies Lens’, as she explores London, which is when she pays Pak’s a visit.
The video was shot at Pak Cosmetics, Wig World, located in Finsbury Park. Paks stores are also located across London in Finsbury, Dalston, Woodgreen, Peckham, Hackney, Walthamstow, Harlesdon and Dagenham.
Shopping at Pak Cosmetics
Connie and a friend meet outside Pak’s Wig World and spend time shopping for products and trying on Pak’s wigs and hair extensions.
Keen eyed shoppers will notice her trying on the Paks Syn Sania Wig in the Lilac Shade,, we think she looks amazing! The Syn Sania wig is a synthetic wig available in a whopping 22 shades and with a price tag of £24.99 we can’t blame Connie for picking it!
Another similar wig is the Hair Couture Luxury Soft Net Wig HC Cassie Wig available in 5 colours, if you’re looking for more of a textured, wavy finish this is the wig for you!
We stock a large range of both Synthetic Wigs and Human Hair Wigs.
We also noticed when purchasing items at the Pak’s checkout Cassie purchases a tub of Kids Olive Oil Muffin Hair Mayonnaise Treatment .
The hair mayonnaise treatment works hard to reconstruct the hairs natural PH balance, as well as strengthening and adding extra moisture. Later in the video we see her applying the treatment to a little one’s head, great to see a Mazuri Hair product in action!
Connies Lens
In an interview with NME Connie talks about the video and working with Swedish House Mafia.
“From creating a beautiful song that is so dear to me, to then directing the video, I cannot be grateful enough for how empowering this process has been. Everyone you will see in this video and even most of the crew has changed my life in some shape or form which feels propitious as this song is currently doing the same. It’s not the London eye or the river Thames that makes London. It’s the people that keep the culture so diverse and the energy so dynamic. I hope this video gives an insight to the young dreamers in the city and how together we help each-other pass all limitations and take over the world…. until heaven takes you home and you’ve got the most triumphant story to tell.”
We spoke to Connie here at Pak’s to share our gratitude for featuring our brand and the Finsbury park store in the video and she responded that she was “So happy to have the Iconic Pak’s in the video!”
We’re so happy to be recognised as a big part of London culture and part of the view from Connies Lens.
