This product is used to moisturise the hair. Coconut Oil is one product that actually penetrated the hair shaft.

I use coconut oil for cooking, in a butter substitute, and as the base for hair, and massage oil. For cooking I use it as it is; for butter substitute, I melt it, and mix it 25%, with olive oil. Coconut oil is hard at room temperature, but forms a soft solid when mixed with olive oil, and is white on its own but a nice buttery yellow, when mixed with the olive oil. For massage and hair oils, I mix it 30% with a liquid base oil, such as sweet almond, or avocado, or even sunflower oil, which creates a lotion-like consistency, and then add essential oils such as lavender, Tea-Tree, Rosemary, Pine-needle, and eucalyptus.\n\nKTC oil is much cheaper than most other manufacturers sell it, and Pak's sell KTC cheaper than most other outlets, especially if you buy a case of 12, as I do, where the postage and packing is very reasonable.

Both myself and my daughter use KTC coconut oil on our hair, on our skin and for whitening our teeth...... oh and definitely for all our cooking/frying etc... you can pay a lot more for this oil if you wish?? but here we have a really healthy cooking oil at the best price we have been able to find it at Paks.

We use KTC coconut oil for cooking and frying food, including deep frying battered fish, etc. \n\nThis is as an alternative to using seed / nut oils, which trigger inflammatory conditions for family members (rosacea and eczema), whose conditions have improved tremendously since we removed all seed/nut oils from the family's diet.\n\nWe also purchase a raw (non heat treated) coconut oil for consumption and for topical application to the skin at night.
